Why use a ball screw over a lead screw?
A ball screw can transmit much higher loads and operate at a much higher efficiency level so load and speed are the critical factors here.
How quick can we have it?
If no machining is needed and the items are stock delivery can normally be made for the following day.
Are the ends machineable?
Yes but for ease of machining we have an end softening machine in house so shafts can be supplied softened for a small charge.
Can we offer stainless steel?
Both carry and speedy can be supplied in stainless subject to requirements.
How often do we have shipments from Switzerland?
We generally have a shipment every 2 weeks.
